Hey! My name is Mike and I fix amps. I'm a San Diego native, deeply passionate about repairing tube amplifiers. Whether it's a Blues Junior or something super vintage and rare, I treat every amp with the upmost respect and care. Basic service includes cleaning jacks, pots, and tube sockets, as well as troubleshooting any issues. If more in depth repairs are warranted, I will contact you with a quote for any replacement parts and any additional labor costs before continuing.

 

I also love building amps from scratch and converting vintage PA, film projector, and reel to reel amplifiers for guitar use. I've always been inspired to design my own circuits with the goal of achieving a specific desired sound. Conversions are especially fun for me, I thrive working within the constraints of the existing tubes, transformers, and chassis to squeeze out some great guitar tones.
